We’ve had some really great feedback on this video which we produced for our client to promote their brand new product; The Darts Practice Rings. The video features none other than darts legend and five times World Champion, Eric Bristow, also known to many as the Crafty Cockney.
We spent the day with Eric Bristow in April, filming at a Rileys darts zone in Stafford. We have to say a big thank you to the Manager who kindly allowed us into the club outside normal hours and to Eric who was an absolute pleasure to work with. This great venue provided the perfect backdrop and allowed us to capture the footage we needed to produce a master class video and this promotional video.
The Darts Practice Rings is one of two NPD (New Product Development) consumer retail projects that we are currently involved with. This exciting project is now moving from development to the promotional phase and the new promotional video above has been crucial in helping to drive initial interest from two of the biggest and most established names in the industry.
Studiowide have taken this project from the initial clients rough sketches, to retail shelves in under 6 months. Not bad when you consider that we have also had to produce full manufacturing drawings, source plastic injection moulding suppliers, design the packaging, design and build the website and do a range of motion graphics instructional videos. All of this work has been done in-house at Studiowide. It’s projects like this – requiring a balance of strategic and business skills with creative services such as video, design and web – which we enjoy tremendously and what makes us stand out from the crowd.
A big thank you to Riley's and Eric Bristow for helping with this shoot.
