Happy International Women’s day
So who’s your hero? Who’s that one lady that inspires you the most and why?
I’m going to go for a bit of a random one… avoid the obvious, (I think) and pick someone whose work deeply inspires me. Diane Arbus – The American Photographer ‘of freaks.’ If you don’t know her work I suggest you swot up as she is one talented lady and her portraits have real emotions and stories behind them.
Also check out ‘Fur’ (2006) an imaginary portrait of her life story and how she came to photograph her most famous subject Lionel. So here’s to you Arbus..
