The first working day of 2011 and we are now in our brand new offices in Rodney Street, Liverpool city centre. We chose this location, mainly because we love the big rooms and the high ceilings that the Georgian building has to offer, but mostly because of the accessibility and heritage of the area.
Rodney Street has a history that is synonymous with creative and professional practices such as dentists and doctors, often called the Harley Street of the North. E. Chambré Hardman the famous photographer was located at number 59, which is now under care of the National Trust.
Arthur Clough, a poet born in 1819 also lived at number 9 and number 62 (built 1792–1793) was the birthplace in 1809 of William Ewart Gladstone, Prime Minister of the UK on four separate occasions through the 1860s to the 1890s.
Studiowide Ltd is now Located at 66 Rodney Street – for those who are familiar with the area this is the same side of Hardman Street as the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral. The office interiors and working spaces have been designed to meet our exact needs, both for now and as part of our growth plans.
We have also expanded our in-house digital Studio. This further strengthens our position as a full service creative marketing company and supports our other activities such as; chartered marketing, web development, graphic design, PR, copywriting and publishing. The Studio facility is set up for video and photography.
We also have a pre-production craft area for rough designs and mock-ups. By expanding this in-house service allows us to take advantage of our ever growing customer needs – to communicate their brands in rapidly increasing visual and digital online spaces.
