While MD Beckett’s financial services covered a wide range of offerings, including mortgages, they wanted to focus more specifically on mortgage services for this expansion. The challenge? MD Beckett Financial Services needed a tailored approach to carve out their space as a “go-to” mortgage advisor while keeping their core values intact.
We’d already built a great working relationship with MD Beckett, having successfully developed a Contact Strategy in the past.
Now, with the ambitious goal of entering a new geographic market, we were ready to help them transform their mortgage offering into something distinct.
Our first step was to create a brand identity separate from the MD Beckett Financial Services umbrella, allowing the mortgage services to take on their own identity. Enter Bishopgate Mortgages, a name already owned by the client, with strong ties to London that would resonate with the target market.
We got to work on building a new brand from the ground up. A fresh logo kicked off the creation of a sleek, professional brand identity, complete with a stationery pack, email signatures, and digital letterheads. This new identity was focused on capturing the high-value mortgage applicants that the London market could offer.
Next, we designed and developed a fully functional, mobile-optimised microwebsite for Bishopgate Mortgages. The goal? To provide users with instant feedback and a seamless experience. A simple mortgage quote calculator sat front and centre, giving potential customers an immediate estimate based on basic criteria like mortgage type, property value, and deposit amount. The easy-to-navigate site kept users engaged and funneled them toward formal applications, making the mortgage process simpler and more accessible.
But a shiny new website alone wouldn’t guarantee success. To effectively reach our London audience, we leaned heavily on Google Ads and Google Remarketing. We used targeted keywords and online tools to boost brand awareness, ensuring Bishopgate Mortgages appeared right where prospective clients were searching for low-cost mortgage services. Cookies helped us track user activity on the site and refine our approach, reinforcing the marketing message as visitors returned.
Our strategy paid off. With the launch of Bishopgate Mortgages, MD Beckett Financial Services now has a new, fully digitised mortgage brand poised to compete in the London market. The microwebsite’s sleek, user-friendly design and the focused Google AdWords campaign combined to position Bishopgate Mortgages as a standout in a crowded field. And the best part? This new online brand can be replicated in other markets, offering scalability and room for further expansion.
