When VWS Software Solutions asked us to create a customer case study film, we knew it was about more than just hitting record. This was a chance to capture a genuine story in a real working environment, showing how their PurGo software is helping NWH Group, one of Scotland’s leading waste management companies. From the start, it was clear we needed to balance high-quality production with thoughtful planning, while also building trust with NWH so they felt comfortable sharing their experience on camera.
VWS were after something professional and versatile, a film they could use across their website, social channels, and sales presentations.
But it also had to feel human, not overly scripted or salesy. So we worked closely with both VWS and NWH to shape a clear and engaging story. We travelled to Scotland to capture on-site interviews, filmed NWH’s tipper trucks in action, and brought in aerial drone shots to give the visuals extra impact. By managing everything from scheduling to filming directly with NWH, we made sure the process felt smooth and respectful of their time and operations.
Once we were back in the studio, we pulled it all together into a polished, engaging video that combined real voices and striking visuals, creating a powerful asset that tells the story authentically. The final result delivered exactly what VWS needed: a professional film with strong visuals, a clear message, and genuine insight from a happy customer. More than that, it strengthened their relationship with NWH and gave them a fantastic marketing tool they’re proud to share.
At Studiowide, we believe the best videos don’t just inform, they connect. And when you tell a real story well, your audience pays attention.
