North West, North Wales and the Isle of Man Congenital Heart Network are a group of NHS Trust hospitals devoted to providing care for those with congenital heart disease. The network is also part of a national group of congenital heart networks that work together to provide the best care for patients.
We were asked to create a website and brand identity for the Network, including a new logo that the Congenital Heart team could use as part of their promotional plans for the Network. The website was developed on WordPress and featured public areas for patients, whilst also catering for healthcare professionals with a private members area. We worked closely with the team at Alder Hey and Manchester Children’s Hospital to understand their requirements and deliverables. A great feature of this project was bringing an idea to use stick families – representing the user groups – to life, which was conceived by one of the team.
